Kaiser Permanente is proud to be a sponsor of the 2018 California North Coast Climate Ride. The Pacific Adventure follows a breathtaking route along California’s North Coast with five full riding days from May 20th-24th, 2018.

Participants will start the ride in the Redwood Empire near Eureka, then ride south into the Russian River Valley and across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco. Riders will raise funds to combat climate change and raise awareness about environmental issues.

The ride offers multiple routes to accommodate a variety of ability levels. Riders cover a total of 292 to 327 miles, averaging 65 miles a day, with multiple daily mileage options.

Accommodations include campgrounds and summer camps, with hotel options are available for every night at additional expense. The ride will end with a picnic lunch in historic San Luis Obispo, after which shuttle buses are available for return trips to both the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles.

Riders are required to fundraise a minimum of $3,000, with the first $500 due by March 30. Register here and begin your fundraising!

Donors can choose from a list of more than 100 environmental organizations, which are carefully selected for their work on environment, conservation, clean energy, sustainability, transportation advocacy, and climate education.
