Join Chef Emmanuelle Leftick, from acclaimed three-star Michelin restaurant Benu, as she puts her culinary knives and skill to work on a healthy cooking demo. Open free to the public, this food demo will be held at Macy’s Union Square in the Cellar on Sunday, March 22, to coincide with Macy’s annual Flower Show. Chefs and au courant food bloggers design a recipe to include healthy ingredients, be easy-to-make and provide delicious samples to attendees. Sponsored for the past five years by Kaiser Permanente, these healthy recipes include a list of what’s in season and available at KP’s San Francisco’s Farmers Market at 2425 Geary Blvd, every Wednesday from 10-2 p.m.
