What would fall be without pumpkins? From Halloween Jack-O’-Lanterns to Thanksgiving pumpkin pie, these gorgeous and varied squash are in every store and farmer’s market this time of year. Join Kaiser Permanente Physician and Chef Linda Shiue, MD in a hands-on Thrive Kitchen class, where you’ll learn to cook different and creative side dishes – including fabulous gravy – to go with your Thanksgiving turkey or other main dish.

Thrive Kitchen classes also teach you about nutrition and gain some kitchen skills that will make the cooking process faster and easier. A different menu is offered each month.

Classes are held the second Wednesday of the month in the Thrive Kitchen at Kaiser Permanente Mission Bay. Pre-registration is required; the fee is $30 for Kaiser Permanente members and $40 for non-members, and includes your meal.
