Dark leafy greens are one of the most nutritious ingredients to include in your diet, full of fiber, vitamins, and phyto-nutrients. Join Kaiser Permanente Physician and Chef Linda Shiue, MD in this virtual class and learn to cook globally inspired seasonal cuisine in less time than it takes to get takeout. We’ll prepare a variety of greens in different ways to give you some new ideas on how to enjoy your greens.
Our menu will feature:
- Massaged Kale and Apple Salad
- Spicy Coconut Braised Collard Greens with Tofu
- Piña Kaleada
You’ll also learn about nutrition and gain some kitchen skills that will make the cooking process faster and easier.
Kaiser Permanente’s virtual Thrive Kitchen classes are held one Wednesday a month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. with a 15-minute orientation at 6:15. A different menu is offered each month.
